Box-Pressed Isabela The Mammoth Returns for 2026

January 30, 2026 Inspector X 2 min read

Isabela Cigar Co. has confirmed the return of its box-pressed Mammoth for 2026. The limited release follows last year’s pressed debut and arrives with tighter production and a modest price increase.

Isabela Mammoth 2026 release

A Sophomore Release for the Pressed Mammoth

The Mammoth remains Isabela Cigar Co.’s annual limited edition. In 2025, the company introduced a box-pressed version for the first time. That change marked a notable evolution for the oversized release.

The 2026 edition keeps the same pressed format. It also retains the massive 7 x 70 size. Isabela positions the cigar as a bold statement piece rather than a daily smoke.

This year’s release focuses on scarcity. Production drops significantly compared to the previous edition. Collectors and fans of large-ring cigars will likely take notice.

Barberpole Wrapper Returns

Isabela continues the barberpole presentation for 2026. The wrapper combines Ecuadorian habano prieto and Ecuadorian desflorado tobaccos. The contrast delivers a striking visual identity.

The barberpole design reinforces The Mammoth’s limited nature. It also separates the cigar from Isabela’s regular production offerings.

Beneath the wrapper, the blend relies on Nicaraguan tobaccos. The company states these leaves receive varying aging periods. That approach aims to balance strength and complexity in a very large format.

Pricing and Packaging Details

The 2026 Mammoth carries an MSRP of $14.95 per cigar. That represents a $1 increase over the 2025 release. Despite the increase, pricing remains aggressive for the size.

Isabela will once again offer boxes of 25 cigars to retailers. The company will also sell 25-count bundles directly through its website. This dual approach expands access while supporting brick-and-mortar accounts.

Sharply Reduced Production

Production for 2026 is extremely limited. Isabela plans just 25 boxes of 25 cigars. The company will also produce 50 bundles of 25.

This total output sits at less than half of the 2025 production. Availability will remain tight across all channels.

The reduced numbers reinforce the Mammoth’s status as a true limited edition. Retailers and consumers should expect fast sell-through once shipments begin.
