262 Cigars and Ohana return to the market in a joint operation
262 cigars and Ohana return to the market in a joint operation. To celebrate that, they will release the Ohana Nui together. 262 cigars was quite popular for a while before founder Clint Aaron sold the company in 2019 to Madison Money and Gabriel Seamen. The two were planning to relaunch the brand in 2020 but due to the pandemic, plans were delayed with 2 years.
262 cigars will bring back the core lines Revere, Allegiance, Paradigm and Ideology and is also working on new lines. Two of the lines will get new artwork, but the Revere and Allegiance will remain as is as a tribute to Clint Aaron. The production moved to Tabacalera Pages de Nicaragua S.A.
Ryan Rodriguez, owner of Ohana Cigars is working on updated blends of the core lines. The production also moved to Tabacalera Pages de Nicaragua where previously Ohana worked with Noel Rojas and Plasencia. Ohana’s Pulse Habano and Maduro will return, just as the M13
The updated portfolio will consist of the Ohana Pulse Habano and Ohana Pulse. There will be more experimental blends under the Left Hand Cigars moniker just as before such as the Blurred Lines and the Lefthander.
Both companies, 262 Cigars and Ohana Cigars, have a 10% stake in each other business and will be working on a combined project slated for September. This is the Ohana Nui with a Mexican San Andres wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos in a double corona vitola. There will be 262 boxes of 10 cigars available and 262 bundles.
Tabacalera Pages de Nicaragua might be a new name to most of us, but Raffo Pages is a well known figure in the industry. He’s the brother in law of A.J. Fernandez and has been working for him for more than a decade. He was head of operations for Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez Cigars in the past.
