A new budget line from Alec Bradley

May 11, 2022 Inspector Z 2 min read

A new budget line from Alec Bradley. Later this month the Fort Lauderdale based cigar company will be releasing the Alec Bradley Caribbean Classic. This new line consists of four sizes. It’s made with Nicaraguan fillers and a Nicaraguan wrapper. The binder comes from Indonesia.

The sizes available are a 5×50 Robusto and a 6×52 Toro. Then there is the 6×60 Gordo, a size that is a must nowadays. The final size is a classic 7×52 Churchill. The cigars are all packed in bundles of 20 cigars.

Jesus Fuego

For the longest time, Alec Bradley has been using Raices Cubanas and Plasencia as producers for their cigars. All the Honduran made Alec Bradley Cigars came from Raices Cubanas. The Nicaraguan cigars were made by Plasencia. But in the last few months, several new cigars from Alec Bradley have been produced by Jesus Fuego in Esteli Nicaragua. Alec Bradley contracted Fuego to make their success release Project 40. And all the new cigars of Alec Bradley’s recently acquired Lars Tetens brand are produced at the factory of Jesus Fuego as well.

One other factory that Alec Bradley is using is Tabacalera La Alianza from Ernesto Perez Carrillo. The Gatekeeper, the latest release from Alec & Bradley Rubin is made in a collaboration with Perez-Carrillo. And the cigars are produced in his factory in the Dominican Republic as well.

The Alec Bradley Caribbean Classic is not the first budget cigar from Alec Bradley Cigar Company. The Alec Bradley Spirit of Cuba is another budget cigar but comes in boxes and three different blends. The new release is packed in cellophane bundles.
