ADVentura’s Charity Cigar is Now Available in the United States

After being a Swiss exclusive cigar for the last three years – The cigar, Adventura Piece of Heart, is a 5×52 Belicoso with a Connecticut Shade wrapper, Indonesian binder and fillers from Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. The cigars are made at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic and are sold in fresh packs of five cigars.

Of each pack sold, $2 will be donated to El Aposento. That is an organization with social services project in Tamboril focussed on children of cigar factory employees. The key project is to provide eyeglasses to children in need. The project was launched by Kerlyn Peña and Gabriella Mejia Peña in cooperation with a local optician, Dr. Marylin Paez.

El Aposento and Dr. Paez are reaching out to every cigar factory in Santiago and offer free eyesight exams to the children of the employees. If needed, the organization offers eyeglasses made in Switzerland to the children in need. Excess money will go towards providing school supplies.
