Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf Expands With Toro 109

December 16, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

Aganorsa Leaf is expanding its Supreme Leaf line with a Toro 109 vitola. The limited edition introduces a tapered head to one of the brand’s most recognised blends and is set to reach retailers in February.

A New Format for Supreme Leaf

Aganorsa Leaf continues to refine Supreme Leaf. The company now adds a Toro 109 format. The cigar measures 6 x 52.
Its defining feature is a blunted 109-style head.

The vitola changes how the blend performs. Aganorsa Leaf expects a more focused opening. The taper directs smoke and flavour early. The ring gauge maintains density throughout the smoke.

Blend and Production

Supreme Leaf remains a farm-to-factory project. All tobaccos come from Aganorsa Leaf’s Nicaraguan farms.

Wrapper, Binder, and Filler

The wrapper uses Corojo ’99. It delivers structure and signature spice. Binder and filler also come from Nicaragua.
The blend highlights Aganorsa’s own seed varietals. Consistency and terroir drive the profile.

Factory and Construction

Production takes place in Nicaragua. The cigars roll at the Aganorsa Leaf factory.

Most Supreme Leaf releases come box-pressed. The Toro 109 breaks that pattern. It features a round body. The cigar still keeps the uncut foot.

Understanding the 109-Style Head

The 109 format has Cuban roots. Partagás popularised the shape decades ago.

A Shape With Many Names

The head sits between styles. It tapers more than a standard parejo. It stops short of a sharp belicoso point.

Collectors know it as No. 109. Others call it campana. Some refer to cabeza tumbada. The name reflects its droplet-like form.

Packaging, Pricing, and Availability

Aganorsa Leaf will ship the Toro 109 in 10-count boxes. Each cigar carries a suggested retail price of $13.99. Production stays deliberately tight. Only 2,000 boxes will be made. That limitation reinforces Supreme Leaf’s status.

Retailers should see shipments in February. Demand will likely mirror earlier releases. Supreme Leaf has a loyal following. The Toro 109 offers a new way to experience it.
