Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva Debuting at PCA 2025
JRE Tobacco Co. is set to unveil a special release at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show—the Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva, a cigar created to celebrate Julio Eiroa’s 85th birthday. Unlike his renowned corojo blends, this new release features pinareño-seed tobaccos, a rare Cuban seed variety cultivated in Honduras.
A Tribute to Tradition and Innovation
The Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva is crafted entirely from Honduran-grown pinareño tobacco, a seed introduced to the country in 1960 by Tino Agurdin. While this variety is known for its delicate nature and smaller yields compared to corojo, JRE Tobacco has harnessed it to create a mild-to-medium-bodied blend, offering a unique smoking experience that stands apart from Eiroa’s traditional corojo-based cigars.
Available Vitolas and Pricing
The Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva will launch in two vitolas:
• Robusto (5 x 50) – $17.50 per cigar ($350 per box of 20)
• Toro (6 x 52) – $20 per cigar ($400 per box of 20)
Both sizes are regular production, but availability will be limited—retailers may order only up to four boxes per vitola per month.
Unique Packaging and Release Details
The cigars will come in yellow boxes adorned with an image of a 1961 Buick, a personal homage to Julio Eiroa, who owns the classic car. JRE Tobacco Co. has confirmed that shipments of the Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva will begin immediately after the conclusion of the PCA Trade Show, scheduled for April 12-14, 2025, in New Orleans.
With its rare tobacco blend and limited availability, the Aladino 85 Aniversario Reserva is expected to be a standout release at PCA 2025, offering cigar enthusiasts a distinctive addition to the celebrated Aladino line.
