American Viking Cigars to Launch “Unkillable” Maduro Next Week
American Viking Cigars will release its newest line, Unkillable, on Monday, January 12. The brand calls it its first true full-strength maduro blend and one of its most personal blends to date.
A Bold New Maduro From American Viking
American Viking Cigars has announced a fresh addition to its portfolio. The new Unkillable line targets smokers who want power with nuance. The brand describes it as its first “true, full-strength maduro” offering.
The name Unkillable reflects persistence in cigar making. It honours craftsmen who endure long timelines and tight margins. That ethos shapes both the blend and the marketing message.
All-Nicaraguan Blend Details
Unkillable employs an all-Nicaraguan blend. It starts with a habano oscuro wrapper from Jalapa Valley. The binder comes from Estelí. Fillers include tobacco from Ometepe, Condega, Jalapa, and Estelí. This combination aims to deliver depth without losing balance.
According to the company, the blend produces a full-bodied profile. Smokers may detect dark chocolate, cocoa, leather, and oak. Each puff should evolve as the cigar progresses.
Sizes, Pricing, and Factory Notes
Unkillable will be available in two sizes at launch:
Unkillable Robusto (5 x 50) — $11.64 per stick; box of 20 at $232.80.
Unkillable Toro (6 x 52) — $12.92 per stick; box of 20 at $258.40.
The factory producing these cigars has not been disclosed. This practice is common for many smaller, boutique releases.
Founder Tim Swanson on the Project
According to Tim Swanson, the concept for Unkillable goes back to earlier efforts. He notes that the original goal for a different project in 2020 was a bold maduro blend. That project eventually evolved into another cigar.
Still, the desire for a true maduro blend persisted. Unkillable represents the realisation of that original vision.
Swanson emphasises that succeeding in cigars demands resilience. He says only brands that adapt and endure truly thrive. Unkillable’s name reflects that mentality.
