Apostate Cigars Expands Regular Production Lines with Petite Corona Vitola
Apostate Cigars has announced the addition of a 4 1/4 x 44 petite corona vitola to all eight of its regular production blends. This marks a significant shift for the brand, which previously released each blend in a single vitola.
Introducing The Eight Witnesses
The new petite corona sizes will be collectively known as The Eight Witnesses, a name inspired by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in keeping with Apostate Cigars’ unique branding approach. According to Brandon Oveson, co-founder of Apostate Cigars, each of the cigars will be packaged in 20-count bundles, designed to fit a single display unit that accommodates all eight blends.
The pricing for each blend in the new size is as follows:
- The Initiatory Petite Corona (4 1/2 x 44) – $10 (Bundle of 20, $200)
- The Deseret Petite Corona (4 1/2 x 44) – $11 (Bundle of 20, $220)
- The Liahona Petite Corona (4 1/2 x 44) – $10 (Bundle of 20, $200)
- Feathered Serpent Petite Corona (4 1/2 x 44) – $10 (Bundle of 20, $200)
- The Sword of Laban Petite Corona (4 1/2 x 44) – $10 (Bundle of 20, $200)
- The Zarahemla Petite Corona (4 1/2 x 44) – $11 (Bundle of 20, $220)

- The Endowment Petite Corona (4 1/2 x 44) – $12 (Bundle of 20, $240)
Each blend will continue to be produced at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, maintaining the consistency and quality that Apostate Cigars is known for.
A Focus on the Core Blends
“With The Eight Witnesses, we’re giving smokers the opportunity to taste the core of each blend in a consistent format,” said Kendrick Woolstenhulme, co-founder of Apostate Cigars. “It’s about stripping away the variables and focusing on the blend itself—whether you’re revisiting a favourite or trying something new, this size delivers the essence of every cigar.”

Apostate Cigars will showcase The Eight Witnesses at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show, taking place from April 12-14 in New Orleans. Retailers can expect bundles to begin shipping this summer.
With this expansion, Apostate Cigars is providing enthusiasts with a new way to experience its signature blends while maintaining its commitment to small-batch craftsmanship and unique storytelling.
