Arturo Fuente Cigar Club Santiago Opens in the Dominican Republic

The Arturo Fuente Cigar Club has opened its second location in the Dominican Republic, housed within the newly launched Hotel Santiago. This upscale addition brings a premium cigar experience to Santiago de los Caballeros, the heart of the Dominican cigar industry.

The Hotel Santiago, part of Hilton’s Curio Collection, is situated in downtown Santiago. This marks the city’s first Fuente-branded lounge, complementing the existing Arturo Fuente Cigar Club in Santo Domingo. Located just five miles from Arturo Fuente’s expansive factory, the lounge is poised to become a hub for cigar enthusiasts visiting the region.

The Santiago lounge features both indoor and outdoor smoking areas, a full-service bar, and a humidor exclusively stocked with Arturo Fuente cigars. While smaller than its Santo Domingo counterpart—a standalone two-storey venue with dining areas and multiple seating options—the Santiago location retains an air of sophistication and exclusivity.

This new lounge is a collaboration between the Fuente family, Ciro A. Cascella (president of Arturo Fuente), and Hotel Santiago, owned by Green Earth Investments Ltd., which also operates the renowned Ágora Mall in Santo Domingo. The hotel boasts 177 rooms, the Barrancoli Restaurant, and a poolside bar. Early next year, the adjacent Santiago Center Mall, described as a sister project to Ágora Mall, will open its doors.

Currently in a soft launch phase, the Arturo Fuente Cigar Club and Hotel Santiago will be fully operational by next month. This partnership seamlessly blends luxury accommodation with the iconic Arturo Fuente cigar experience, creating a must-visit destination for aficionados and travellers alike.
