Asylum’s April Fools Joke

Last year Asylum Cigars pulled an April Fools’ joke by announcing a massive 9×90 cigar. Much to their surprise, many cigar smokers were actually excited to see such a big cigar and demanding Asylum to make it. So they did, and it was a big success. Now the cigar will be returning to the shelves.

In a few weeks the next batch of this monster of a cigar will be shipped to retailer that have them on backorder. Technically, these are still the 2021 release as not all orders were fulfilled. There will be a 2022 release, with the same measurements and all Honduran blend but with new packaging.

The CLE Cigar Factory, where Asylum Cigars are being made, is training additional cigar rollers to roll these unique and massive cigars. Retailers can no longer order the 2022 release. Asylum Cigars will only accept orders for a limited amount of time before they close the order possibility for another year.
