Black Label Trading Company available in Germany
Black Label Trading Company available in Germany. It’s the first time that the young and edgy cigar company expands outside of the United States. The German distributor Kleinlagel is responsible for the representation of the brand in the largest cigar market in Europe.
Black Label Trading Company
James & Angela Brown were tour operators in Guatemala. But for their tours, they went to Nicaragua often. Brown started to blend cigars during those trips and his customers loved them. That was the start of their brand. In 2013, the first cigars were released and the husband & wife team opened their own factory. Being outsiders, doing things differently than others, they called their factory Oviedo Negra, the black sheep.
Klaus & Martine Kleinlagel were introduced to James & Angela Brown at the IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. And there was an immediate connection, Martina Kleinlagel explained to us. The quality of the cigars and the edgy packaging signed the deal. The Germans pulled the trigger right there and then and decided to place an order. The cigars were officially launched for Germany at the Intertabac trade show
The portfolio
From the regular production lines by Black Label Trading Company, the Royalty will be available in three violas. Those are the 5½x42 Corona, the 5×54 Robusto, and the 6×60 Gran Toro. The lawless will be available as Robusto and Gran Toro. The same goes for Last Rites. And the Salvation will be available as a Robusto only.
The Browns also own and operate Black Works Studio. That is the experimental part of their company, with even edgier lines and limited editions. From the Black Works Studio, the Killer Bee Petit Corona 4½x46 will be available in Germany. Just as the 5×48 Green Hornet. And the NKB will be available as the Robusto BP, just like the NBK Lizard King.

Kleinlagel also ordered the Bishops Blend for a 2020 release. And retailer that dropped by the booth at Intertabac were allowed to preorder two exclusive lines: Shere Khan and Neon Tiger.
