Black Market Esteli Diamond from Alec Bradley returns. Last year Alec Bradley expanded the diamond-pressed cigars from the Nica Puro line to the Black Market Esteli line. And now they are back in the famous, diamond-shaped, boxes. But just like last year, and the annual Alec Bradley Nica Puro Diamond Rough Cut, it is a limited edition. Only 1500 boxes will be available globally.

The cigars are 6¼x54 long. But the shape is the thing that sets it apart from any other cigar in the world. It is the only cigar that’s not round, box-pressed, or semi-box pressed but pressed in the shape of a diamond. And that creates a different smoking sensation. To achieve this, the cigars are pressed in special rhomboid formed molds after rolling.

Tweaked blend

The black market Esteli Diamond Rough Cut is a little stronger than the regular blend. That is due to the extra Ligero leaf in the filler of the cigar. The cigar is medium-full in strength. Each box contains 16 cigars. 

Alec Bradley tries to release the cigars every year in June. But due to the covid pandemic, the Black Market Esteli Diamond Rough Cut 2020 only reached retailers in October. The 2021 version is slated for a June release though. Plasencia Cigars in Esteli is responsible for the production of the cigars.

Recently Alec Bradley made an announcement to discontinue the Alec Bradley Nica Puro. With that, the annual limited edition Alec Bradley Black Market Esteli Diamond Rough Cut is the only cigar in this unique shape that remains.
