Black Works Studio Offering New Cigar to Retailers at PCA Convention

June 27, 2022 Billie 1 min read

Black Works Studio—an offshoot of Black Label Trading Co.—is offering 950 boxes of 24 cigars to retailers who place orders at the PCA Convention & Trade Show next month in Las Vegas. The cigar, the Killer Bee Salon, is the newest version of the Killer bee. The cigar is a 5½x46 Belicoso made with a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan filler. The wrapper is Mexican San Andres but with Connecticut Shade and Candela accents. The cigars are made at Fábrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua.

“The Killer Bee line is in a constant state of evolution. It lends itself to a lot of different variations and the next one in line is the Shaolin,” sayd James Browner, owner of Black Label Trading Co., in a press release. “The Shaolin is a slightly tweaked version of the Killer Bee blend wrapped in a mix of Mexican San Andres, Connecticut, and Candela. The result is a bold but elegant cigar that has layers of complexity.”

At the same time, Black Label Trading Company and the Dutch cigar distributor Small Batch Cigars have signed a distribution agreement. Cigars from Black Label, including Black Works Studio, are now available in The Netherlands.
