Bocock Brothers Releases Syracuse-Branded Corojo Cigar
Bocock Brothers has introduced the Syracuse Special Edition Corojo, the latest addition to its Collegiate Series. The new release follows the brand’s established formula of school-specific cigars built around bold Honduran-forward blends.
A New Entry in the Collegiate Series
The Syracuse Special Edition Corojo continues Bocock Brothers’ strategy of linking premium cigars with major American universities. The line already includes cigars branded for Florida, Louisiana, Louisiana State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Wake Forest.
With Syracuse joining the lineup, the Collegiate Series now covers a broader geographic and fan base. The release targets alumni, collectors, and cigar smokers who appreciate limited, identity-driven products.
Blend and Tobacco Composition
Bocock Brothers has opted for a familiar yet robust blend profile. The cigar features a Honduran corojo wrapper, delivering the spicy and earthy character associated with the varietal.
A Nicaraguan binder supports the structure. The filler blend combines Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. This mix suggests a balance between strength, richness, and complexity.
The company has not formally confirmed the vitola. However, the cigar appears to follow the 6 x 52 toro format used throughout the Collegiate Series. This size has proven popular within the line and offers broad appeal.
Pricing and Packaging Details
Pricing for the Syracuse Special Edition Corojo is set at $290 per box. Each box contains 20 cigars. That places the per-cigar price at $14.50.
This pricing aligns with other releases in the Collegiate Series. It positions the cigar firmly in the premium segment without pushing into ultra-limited territory.
Production and Manufacturing Notes
Bocock Brothers has not yet confirmed the factory producing the Syracuse release. The company has previously stated that it manufactures cigars at San Judas Tadeo in Honduras.
Other Bocock Brothers cigars reportedly come from an undisclosed factory, also located in Honduras. Until official confirmation arrives, the exact origin of the Syracuse Special Edition Corojo remains unverified.
What is clear is that Honduras continues to play a central role in Bocock Brothers’ production strategy, both in terms of tobacco sourcing and manufacturing.
