Bond Roberts Cigars Launches Global Release of the Línea D No.01 “109”
Bond Roberts expands its exclusive cigar portfolio with the global release of the Línea D No.01, known as the “109”, a bold and refined vitola blending Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Following the successful debut of its first exclusive cigar in early 2024, Bond Roberts Cigars has now unveiled the Línea D No.01, affectionately referred to as the “109”. This marks the brand’s second official release, and the first to be distributed on a global scale.
First introduced at the historic J.J. Fox in London in late 2024, the 109 features a stately 7¼ x 50 format and delivers a complex profile built around a Honduran wrapper and binder, with fillers from both Honduras and Nicaragua. The size itself, the “109”, holds prestige among aficionados, reminiscent of classic Cuban vitolas, but here reimagined with a modern, non-Cuban twist.
“The response to the 109 at launch was fantastic,” said Rob Ayala, CEO of Bond Roberts. “We’re thrilled to now make it available to cigar lovers around the world. Once again, Hamlet Paredes and the Fabrica 5 team have delivered an outstanding cigar, while Angel Miranda Battle has elevated the experience with striking, elegant packaging.”
