C.L.E. to Unveil The First 20 Years at TAA Conference

October 18, 2024 Inspector X 2 min read

Next week, at the prestigious Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) conference in Aruba, C.L.E. Cigar Co. will be unveiling its latest release, Eiroa The First 20 Years. This special cigar marks two decades in the cigar business for Christian Eiroa, the mastermind behind C.L.E. Cigars and a prominent figure in the premium cigar industry. The cigar pays homage to Eiroa’s rich family heritage, which is rooted in the renowned tobacco traditions of Honduras and Cuba.

The Eiroa family has long claimed to use tobacco seeds from the original El Corojo farm in Cuba, and this new release continues that legacy. However, the Eiroa The First 20 Years cigar takes things a step further. Christian Eiroa has created this blend using seeds from La Victoria del Corojo, a Cuban farm once owned by his grandfather, Generoso Eiroa. This deep connection to his family’s past makes this cigar especially significant, as it embodies both tradition and the future of the Eiroa family’s tobacco legacy.

The First 20 Years cigar measures 6 inches by 54 ring gauge and consists entirely of Honduran tobacco. The tobacco grown from the La Victoria seeds is featured in the filler, making this cigar a true reflection of the family’s expertise and the best of Honduran tobacco. Rolled at the C.L.E. factory in Honduras, it will come packaged in sleek 10-count boxes, with a suggested retail price of $16.60 per cigar.

Although The First 20 Years will make its debut at the TAA conference, it will only be available to TAA retail members, making it an exclusive offering for those who attend the event in Aruba. For those unable to make the trip, the cigar will be available to the broader market in early 2025, leaving enthusiasts eagerly awaiting its release.

With The First 20 Years, Christian Eiroa continues to honour his family’s proud tobacco tradition while celebrating his own personal milestone. This cigar promises to be a fitting tribute to two decades of dedication to premium cigars, and for aficionados who appreciate high-quality, Honduran-grown tobacco, it’s sure to be worth the wait.
