The fourth instalment in CAO’s Arcana series is on its way. Named Stokk, this bold new blend explores pipe tobacco tradition and cigar craftsmanship in one striking Belicoso.

An Unexpected Fusion of Tobacco Cultures

CAO Arcana Stokk launches on 4 August and showcases an unusual collaboration. This limited-edition cigar brings together General Cigar Co. and Danish pipe tobacco brand Peter Stokkebye. The result is a blend unlike anything CAO has done before.

The Arcana series, first introduced in 2021, is all about exploring unique tobaccos. Stokk continues that theme by using filler that includes fire-cured Latakia—a tobacco usually reserved for pipe blends. This move delivers a smoky depth rare in cigars.

Two Phases, One Unique Experience

The experience begins with Dominican andullo, a tobacco known for its sweet intensity. Unlike standard filler, andullo is fermented in palm-wrapped pods for up to two years. This unusual process produces tobacco that is rich, concentrated and flavourful.

As the cigar burns past the halfway point, the flavour shifts. The andullo gives way to Latakia from Cyprus, offering smoky, earthy notes. Supporting this transition is a base of Honduran filler, a Nicaraguan binder, and a bold Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.

The profile is medium to full-bodied, but the dual-phase experience offers complexity far beyond strength alone.

Pushing the Boundaries of Flavour

“CAO is all about pushing the boundaries in tobacco exploration,” said CAO brand manager Cory Beardsley. “This blend isn’t about novelty. It’s about showing what happens when two traditions meet and evolve.”

Stokk follows previous Arcana releases—Mortal Coil, Firewalker, and Thundersmoke. With each launch, CAO has taken cigar smokers on a deeper journey into the world of tobacco. Stokk continues that legacy—with a smoky twist.
