Casa Magna comes back to The Netherlands
Casa Magna comes back to The Netherlands. The brand was very popular for many years after becoming the Cigar Aficionado Cigar of the Year in 2008. But for several reasons, including supply chain issues and price hikes, the brand disappeared from the Dutch market. But now it’s back, with the same great prices as before.
Longfiller Company, the import & distribution company behind the Van Dalen Cigar Boutiques and Cigaragua is bringing Casa Magna back. Owner Sasja van Horssen and Quesada Cigars cleared all the problems of the past. The new relationship is bigger than before, as Longfiller Company will act as the Casa Magna agent and warehouse for Europe and Asia. Through the connections of Longfiller Company, Casa Magna will return to other European and Asian markets as well.
The Netherlands
The full range of the Casa Magna Colorado is coming to The Netherlands. That means 8 different vitolas. The Casa Magna Oscuro, Casa Magna Domus Magnus and the brand new Casa Magna Liga F are not in the plans for now. In The Netherlands, the cigars come as single sticks for a set price, but there are box-only deals that make them cheaper by the box than with single sticks.
The prices for the Casa Magna Belicoso are €8 per cigar or €170 for a box of 27 cigars. That is considerably cheaper than 27 loose cigars of €8 a piece. The Casa Magna Churchill comes for the same price. The Corona is €7 with €155 for a box of 27. The 6×60 Gigantores is €11 or €450 for a box of 50 cigars. The Gran Toro comes in at €8,50, or €180 for a box of 27. The small Pikito is €6 of 270 for a box of 55. The prize-winning Robusto is €7,50 or €160 for 27 and the Torito has the same price as the Belicoso and Churchill.
