Casa Magna Connecticut Gets a New Petit Corona Size

For cigar lovers who prefer a shorter smoke, Quesada Cigars has introduced a new size to its Casa Magna Connecticutline: the Petit Corona. Measuring 4½ x 40, this new vitola is now shipping to retailers as a regular-production cigar.

The Casa Magna Connecticut range is known as the mildest expression within the award-winning Casa Magna portfolio. The blend features a silky Connecticut-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador, paired with Nicaraguan tobaccosfor the filler and binder. The result is a smooth, approachable cigar with refined complexity—ideal for those seeking a lighter profile without sacrificing quality.

The Petit Corona is the fourth vitola in the line, joining the previously released Robusto, Toro, and Toro Gordoformats. Unlike the others, which come in boxes of 20, the new Petit Corona is presented in cabinet-style boxes of 50, reflecting a more traditional packaging style. The suggested retail price is an accessible $6.66 USD per stick.

Production remains at TABADEXTabacos de Exportación Inc., the Quesada family’s factory in the Dominican Republic. Known for its consistent craftsmanship, the factory is also responsible for producing many of the brand’s other well-regarded blends.

Whether you’re short on time or simply enjoy a compact format, the Casa Magna Connecticut Petit Corona offers an elegant and flavourful option. With its mild strength, it may also appeal to newer cigar smokers looking to explore the Casa Magna range.
