Casdagli Cigars inbound in Togo
Casdagli Cigars inbound in Togo. The brand created by Jeremy Casdagli is expanding distribution to the Togolese Republic. For those that can’t place Togo on the map. It’s squeezed in between Ghana on the west, Benin on the east. The northern border is Burkino Faso while the south borders the Atlantic Ocean, in the Gulf of Guinea to be precise. It’s one of the slimmest countries in the world, with a maximum width of just 115 kilometers. Togo is 57.000 square kilometers in size. Yet has a population of 8.6 million people.
The capital of Togo is Lomé. Its located in the southwest part of the country, bordering the ocean. Approximately a quarter of the population of Togo lives in or near Lomé. The capital is also the home of Isegun Distribution, the new distributor for Casdagli Cigars. The company runs a cigar lounge in Lomé called Le Civette. Isegun Distribution distributes several other brands including Davidoff. But it’s not stopping there, since the country is so narrow, Isegun Distribution is looking to the neighbors on the east and the west for expansion.

Casdagli Cigars
Distribution in Togo is another step into the expansion of Casdagli Cigars. The brand is already very popular in the Middle East. New Zealand recently saw the first shipment coming in. Several Asian countries show interest in the brand, just as more African countries. Europe is a strong market for the Tallinn, Estonia based cigar brand.
Four of the five lines from Casdagli are made at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic. The . fifth line is made at the IGM factory in Costa RicaBoth factories pay ridiculous attention to detail. Through the connection with Hendrik Kelner, Casdagli Cigars has access to the best and rarest tobaccos in the world. From small crops to readily available tobacco. Due to the relatively small size, Casdagli Cigars can cherrypick the best tobaccos. Bigger companies often have to buy combinations, if they want a bale of wrapper, they need to buy a bale of seco as well. Casdagli is boutique enough to be able to avoid being stuck with unwanted tobacco.
In the next few weeks, we will review two Casdagli Cigars. Plus more distribution news will be posted as soon as distribution agreements are confirmed.
