Casdagli Cigars Pays Tribute to Military Generals with Napoleonic Collection

July 4, 2023 Inspector Y 2 min read

Casdagli Cigars is launching a new line honouring military generals that are known to love tobacco.

The first is the Napoleonic Collection in two blends, The Forrader and The Brave. The Forrader is names after Gebhard Leberecht von Blucher aka General Forwards. He was known to carry a pipe into battle. The cigar is made with an Ecuadorian wrapper over Dominican filler and binder.
The Brave is inspired by the French general Marshal Ney, the bravest of the brave. The cigar is made with an Ecuadorian Wrapper over Dominican binder and filler from the Dominican, USA and Zimbabwe.

Both blends will come in a robusto and piramide price and are made at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.

“I needed to find generals that had an interesting anecdote about their relationship with tobacco,” said Jeremy Casdagli, founder of Casdagli Cigars. “I am pleased that I eventually managed to find anecdotes honouring the counterparts who fought for France, Prussia, Austria, Russia and Great Britain. Some of them actually dying with tobacco in their hand.”
