Cavalier Genève Ships The Green Jacket 2025 in Celebration of The Masters
With The Players Championship now concluded, golf fans are turning their attention to The Masters. In honour of the prestigious tournament and its iconic green jacket, Cavalier Genève has released The Green Jacket 2025, a limited-edition Churchill cigar designed to capture the spirit of the game.
The Green Jacket 2025 is a 7 x 47 Churchill featuring a claro wrapper from the Jamastran Valley in Honduras, a Honduran habano binder, and a diverse filler blend sourced from Honduras, Indonesia, Nicaragua, and Paraguay. Each box contains 10 cigars, plus an 11th preview cigar for The Green Jacket 2026, with the blend for next year’s release set to be revealed in due course. The cigars are priced at $18 each, with a box MSRP of $198. Production is highly limited, with 728 boxes allocated to the U.S. market and 485 set aside for international distribution.
A standout feature of this release is its packaging. The inside lid, or vista, of each box showcases an outline of the green of hole #12 at Augusta National, known as Golden Bell. This tribute will evolve yearly, with each new edition depicting a different hole from the famed golf course.
This marks the second annual edition of The Green Jacket. Last year, the release was exclusive to The Vault in Meridian, Idaho, but due to high demand, Cavalier Genève expanded distribution worldwide. Retailers needed to pre-order the cigar by November 2024 to secure allocations.
Founder Sébastien Decoppet emphasised the cigar’s growing appeal, stating that global interest led to its expansion beyond The Vault. Moving forward, The Green Jacket will be an annual limited production available through a pre-order system for select retailers and distributors.
The Masters runs from April 7-13, making this release a fitting tribute to one of golf’s most celebrated traditions.
