Constella Group Ships The Machinist — By Luciano
Constella Group has started shipping The Machinist — by Luciano, one of its standout launches from the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show. This new line blends craftsmanship, storytelling, and tribute into a cigar rooted in heritage and balance.
The Machinist Blend
The Machinist features a Mexican San Andrés viso wrapper. Beneath it lies a double binder made of Ecuadorian Sumatra viso and Indonesian Sumatra. The filler combines tobaccos from Pennsylvania, the Dominican Republic, and South Africa.
The company describes the profile as flavours of fresh-baked bread, cocoa, spice, and subtle natural sweetness. Constella calls it “a blend with backbone and balance, reminding us that strength doesn’t need to shout.”
Vitolas and Pricing
The Machinist — by Luciano is part of regular production and arrives in three formats:
Machinist Magnum (5 1/4 x 54) — $11 (Box of 20, $220)
Machinist Toro (6 x 52) — $11.50 (Box of 20, $230)
Machinist Gordo (6 x 60) — $13 (Box of 20, $260)
The cigars are rolled at an undisclosed Dominican factory, the same one producing Constella’s other new lines, Élevé and The Resilient.
The Story Behind The Machinist
The cigar honours the life of Jack Beaver, grandfather of Josh Beaver, Constella USA’s national key account manager. Jack was a machinist, a family man, and an example of perseverance and generosity.
The Machinist represents more than a profession—it reflects values of discipline, humility, and purpose. Luciano Meirelles, founder of Luciano Cigars and co-founder of Constella USA, explained:
“We honour history not as something behind us, but as the foundation beneath us. The Machinist is a tribute to the men and women whose hands shaped this country—and to those still shaping it today.”
Josh Beaver added that the cigar is a personal tribute to his grandfather’s generation: “He never asked for recognition—but he earned respect. I believe this cigar is for everyone who wakes up early, clocks in, and gives more than they take.”
Recent Constella Releases
The Machinist follows closely after another Constella launch. The company recently began shipping the Maria Lucia Limited Edition PCA 2025, which originally appeared as a single-store release earlier this year.
