Crowned Heads Revives Belgian Blue LE 2025 — A Return of Strength and Sophistication
The Return of a Fan Favourite
Crowned Heads has announced the highly anticipated return of its celebrated Belgian Blue blend with the release of Belgian Blue LE 2025. Originally debuting in October 2024, the cigar quickly gained a devoted following. Responding to overwhelming demand, the brand now reintroduces it in a new 5½ x 56 box-pressed format.
Inspired by Strength and Character
Named after the Belgian Blue cattle breed—famed for its striking, muscular “double-muscling” physique—the cigar reflects that same power and refinement. Crowned Heads President Jon Huber explained, “We knew we had something special with the Belgian Blue blend, but the reaction surpassed even our expectations. We received many requests to bring it back or make it a regular production. Far be it from us not to listen to our customers.”
A Blend of Power and Balance
The Belgian Blue LE 2025 features a composition of 75% ligero, giving it a textured, thick leaf base for added depth and strength. Despite its robust construction, it delivers smooth combustion and exceptional flavour balance.
As Huber noted, “Many new era cigars are blended for strength, but Belgian Blue was designed to be full in flavour first. The intensity and power became a natural by-product of that approach. The profile is strong and smooth at the same time.”
Refined Craftsmanship from Estelí
Produced at the D’Hatuey factory in Estelí, Nicaragua—home to other Crowned Heads favourites like Mil Días, Mil Días Maduro, Juárez, Blood Medicine, and Blood Medicine B-Positive—the Belgian Blue LE 2025 exemplifies Crowned Heads’ ongoing commitment to precision and artistry.
The cigar combines Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers, an Ecuadorian binder, and a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper. It will be presented in 12-count boxes, with worldwide production limited to 2,500 boxes (30,000 cigars).
Availability and Pricing
Shipping begins in early November 2025, with a suggested retail price of $13.50 per cigar.
For enthusiasts who missed out on the 2024 release—or for those who fell in love with it the first time—Belgian Blue LE 2025 offers another chance to experience a blend that perfectly marries power, depth, and finesse.
