Daniel Marshall and Fuente’s White House Humidor Sells for $250,000

December 6, 2024 Inspector X 2 min read

A Daniel Marshall limited-edition White House Humidor, filled with 300 Arturo Fuente cigars, fetched an impressive $250,000 at a charity auction this October. Hosted at Arnold Schwarzenegger’s home in Brentwood, California, the auction supported the After-School All-Stars Charity, which provides free after-school programs for underserved children.

The humidor, a 1:60 scale replica of the White House, was conceived by Daniel Marshall and Schwarzenegger. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it is based on the original 1791 blueprints and features the iconic South Portico added in 1824.

Inside the humidor lies a treasure trove of 300 Arturo Fuente cigars in Churchill and Robusto formats. The cigars feature aged wrappers from Chateau de la Fuente, the renowned farm where Fuente Fuente OpusX wrappers are grown.

The package extended beyond the humidor itself. Included were six oil-on-canvas portraits of notable U.S. presidents—Washington, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Kennedy, Reagan, and Bush Sr.—with matching imagery on the cigar bands. Buyers also received The White House: An Historic Guide Deluxe Edition, a coffee table book valued at $250, gifted to Marshall by the White House Historical Association.

Of the 10 humidors produced, one belongs to Schwarzenegger, one to Marshall, and another is set to be donated to the White House. The remaining humidors are reserved for collectors or future auctions, each paired with the presidential portraits.

Handmade in California at the Daniel Marshall workshop, these intricate humidors took a year to complete, merging artistry with history. Their sale highlights how luxury cigars and craftsmanship can contribute to meaningful causes.
