Davidoff Expands Dominican Factory to Double Cigar Production
Davidoff has completed a major expansion of its Dominican Republic facilities, enabling the company to double its annual cigar production. This investment reflects the brand’s continued growth and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
A Major Investment in Expansion
At the heart of the expansion is a new 1,700-square-metre (18,298-square-foot) blending centre, designed to enhance Davidoff’s ability to create and refine its premium cigar blends. Additionally, existing manufacturing halls have been expanded, increasing overall production capacity.
Further improvements include the addition of new tobacco storage facilities in Jicomé, about 15 miles northwest of Davidoff’s flagship TABADOM factory in Villa Gonzalez. These new storage spaces will help maintain optimal conditions for aging and preserving tobacco, ensuring the highest quality in Davidoff’s cigars.
Commitment to Employee Well-Being
Davidoff has also prioritised the well-being of its 1,200 employees at TABADOM with a new cafeteria and a more direct entrance from the highway, making commutes more convenient.
