Davidoff Unveils Limited 2025 Release with Churchill’s Artwork
Davidoff’s Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2025 “The Artist” arrives in the UK on the 9th of January at £71.99 each. This 7 x 48 Churchill is limited to 18,000 boxes and features an Ecuadorian wrapper, Mexican binder, and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
The cigar is classified as medium strength, and its layered blend includes notes of nuts, coffee, and cedar wood. It draws conceptual inspiration from Sir Winston Churchill’s routine of painting while enjoying a cigar. Inside the box, a wooden separator helps organize the cigars, and a painter’s palette–style inlay offers an optional way to present them. A hook clasp and two golden hinges secure the lid.
Central to the design is Churchill’s impressionist painting “Cork Trees Near Mimizan,” completed in southern France in 1924. The piece depicts a sunlit path winding through dense cork trees, illustrating the interplay of light, shade, and subtle figures in the background. This image is reproduced inside the box lid and on a secondary cigar band, with permission granted by the Churchill family.
Davidoff also introduces two Winston Churchill humidors under the Artist theme. The smaller Primos Humidor, in dark gray with Churchill’s silhouette in yellow, is built to hold 25–35 cigars in an oak exterior and an anigre wood interior. Its larger counterpart, the Ambassador Humidor, uses blue-black tulipwood on the outside and anigre wood within, holding up to 70–80 cigars. Both include a Davidoff Slim Regulator and dividers or a removable tray, depending on size.
