Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Unveils CANH Fiddlehead Exclusive for New Hampshire Retailers
This weekend, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust is set to release the CANH Fiddlehead, a limited-edition cigar available exclusively to retailers in its home state of New Hampshire. Crafted with a unique blend and a distinctive cap, this release is sure to intrigue cigar aficionados and collectors alike.
The CANH Fiddlehead is a 6 x 48 vitola featuring an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper that encases a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder and a complex filler blend. The filler includes Criollo 92 from the Dominican Republic, visos from Condega, Jalapa, and Ometepe in Nicaragua, and Connecticut broadleaf. These tobaccos come together to create a balanced smoking experience that showcases the expert craftsmanship of the Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) factory.
One of the most distinctive elements of this cigar is its “special fiddlehead colita,” a coiled cap inspired by the unfurled fronds of fiddlehead ferns, a local delicacy in New Hampshire. This detail not only enhances the cigar’s aesthetic appeal but also pays homage to the region’s culture and traditions.
Each CANH Fiddlehead cigar is priced at an MSRP of $18.99 and comes packaged in 10-count boxes. With just over 700 boxes available for this initial release, demand is expected to be high among collectors and enthusiasts.
Exclusively available to retail members of the Cigar Association of New Hampshire (CANH), this release carries a charitable component as well. Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust founder Steve Saka has announced that a significant portion of the proceeds from the sale of these cigars—both from the company and participating retailers—will be donated to the CANH, supporting its initiatives within the state.
The CANH Fiddlehead is scheduled to go on sale on Saturday, March 8, giving New Hampshire cigar lovers a unique and meaningful addition to their humidors.
