Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Unveils Mi Querida Gorila Gordo at PCA 2025

March 24, 2025 Inspector X 1 min read

At the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust will introduce a new Mi Querida vitola, the Gorila Gordo, a 6 x 60 cigar wrapped in Connecticut broadleaf over a Nicaraguan binder and filler. This addition enhances the Mi Querida portfolio with a bolder size, offering a rich smoking experience.

A Change in Plans

Founder Steve Saka originally planned a 6 x 64 vitola but opted for the 6 x 60 to increase blend diversity, complementing the existing 7 x 64 size. The Gorila Gordo also replaces the now-discontinued Mi Querida Muy Gordo Grande (6 x 54), refining the brand’s approach to larger cigars.

A Legacy of Bold Blends

First launched in 2016, Mi Querida has expanded from its original four vitolas to over ten unique sizes. It has also inspired blends like Mi Querida Green, Mi Querida Black, and Mi Querida Triqui Traca, each offering distinct takes on the brand’s signature bold flavour.

Availability & PCA Showcase

The Gorila Gordo will debut at PCA 2025 (April 12-14, New Orleans), with packaging in boxes of 20. Pricing details are yet to be confirmed. This latest release reaffirms Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship in premium cigars.
