Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Welcomes Edca Quiñones as First In-House Sales Representative

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust® (DTT) has announced the appointment of Edca Quiñones as their first in-house Sales Representative. She will be responsible for working with Purveyors in Florida, strengthening DTT’s presence in the state.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, NY, Edca is bilingual and has a long-standing passion for cigars. She was introduced to the world of cigars by her grandfather and father, both avid cigar smokers. Her own journey began in 1992, and after serving 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, an injury led her to retire. With a deep love for cigars, she transitioned into the industry full-time, sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with fellow aficionados.

Her career in the cigar industry began at Executive Cigar’s Sanford, Florida location, where she worked as a tobacconist and eventually became their Cigar Manager. In late 2022, she joined Cigar Hustler in Deltona, Florida, as a Sales Associate while also working with Zander-Greg’s sales team, representing multiple brands.

Steve Saka, Founder and Co-Owner of DTT, expressed his excitement about Edca’s appointment, highlighting his unique approach to sales team expansion. “Most young companies in our industry focus on their Sales Teams very early on, but I have done the exact opposite. Finding people who genuinely love cigars, connect with customers, and embody our ethos is rare. Meeting Edca, I was impressed by her passion and authenticity.”

Edca will assist DTT’s Florida-based Purveyors with product allocation, support, training, and events. She is already in the process of introducing herself to accounts in the region and will attend the upcoming PCA Trade Show.
