Eiroa Cigars to Transition to 10-Count Boxes with Updated Blend for Eiroa Dark
CLE Cigar Co. continues its multi-year packaging overhaul with exciting changes for the Eiroa brand. As part of a new strategy to encourage box sales, the company will be transitioning its Eiroa-branded cigars to new 10-count boxes, a shift that will affect some of the most popular lines in the brand’s portfolio.
Starting in early June, the following Eiroa lines will be shipped in updated 10-count boxes:
• Eiroa C.B.T. Maduro
• Eiroa Classic
• Eiroa Colorado
• Eiroa The First 20 Years
Christian Eiroa, the founder of CLE Cigar Co., believes that the change to 10-count boxes will incentivise customers to make more box purchases, thereby improving sales across the brand. The move is part of the company’s ongoing effort to streamline and refresh its packaging, a process that has already been implemented with Asylum and CLE cigars over the past few years.
While the packaging change is significant, the most noteworthy update is reserved for the Eiroa Dark line. Not only will it be presented in the new packaging, but the blend is also undergoing a transformation. The updated blend will incorporate tobacco from Christian Eiroa’s own farm in Colombia, adding a new twist to the cigar. Previously, the Eiroa Dark was known as a Honduran puro, and the addition of Colombian tobacco is expected to create a richer, more complex flavour profile.
Alongside the blend update, Eiroa Dark will also receive a new name to celebrate a significant milestone in Christian Eiroa’s career. The cigar will now be known as the Eiroa Dark 30th, marking 30 years since Eiroa entered the cigar industry. While it’s still unclear when these newly blended cigars will reach store shelves, the Eiroa Dark 30th is expected to make a bold impact when it does.
With these changes, Eiroa Cigars is poised to offer a refreshed experience to its loyal fans, with both packaging and blend updates that reflect the brand’s commitment to innovation and quality. Keep an eye out for these exciting updates as they roll out in the coming months.
