El Artista releases Buffalo TEN
El Artista releases Buffalo TEN. We mentioned the new line back in April, with the launch of El Artista in Norway. But back then, the cigar was one big mystery. Tabacalera El Artista issues a press release about the new 2019 brand now.
Packaging and blend
Radhames ‘Ram’ Rodriguez, President of El Artista Cigars says “We feel this is the beginning of a great flagship product line for us. not only does it smoke great but the whole package looks amazing. We have developed something that we feel cannot be beaten”. Kevin Newman, Director of Sales & Marketing continues “Buffalo TEN truly demonstrates the strengths of El Artista. The factory team worked with us to source some of the best tobaccos available and integrate a few factory-exclusives for a phenomenal blend at an incredible price”. And that incredible price is a suggested retail price of $4.50 before tax in the USA. For international markets, the price will depend on the different taxes in each and every country.
The Buffalo TEN is only available as a 6×50 Toro. The cigars aren’t packed in boxes or bundles. They come in 5-packs or as singles. For retailers, a wooden shelf display is available. And they can order bundles of 40 cigars to fill the trays. “We are experimenting with Buffalo TEN in terms of packaging options and a great low price point that we feel is attractive to both consumers and the brick & mortar retailer,” states Ram.

The cigars are made by combining six different tobaccos from five countries. The wrapper is a toothy San Andres Maduro from Mexico. The Dominican Negrito binder is exclusive to El Artista. The filler contains tobacco from the USA, Colombia and two types from the Dominican. The Dominican tobacco comes from Tabacalera El Artista’s own farms and includes the exclusive T-13 Hybrid.
