Ernesto Perez Carrillo Wants to Celebrate His 70th With a Special Release

Last November, Dominican cigar maker and industry legend Ernesto Perez Carrillo turned 70. He wants to celebrate that with a special release and we, cigar smokers, can choose which one it will be. EPC Cigars is releasing a sampler with three cigars, each 6×52 in size, with identical bands but different colour foot bands and a card to vote on which blend you prefer. The sampler is called Platinum Bash.

The Platinum Bash Pack will be available at EPC events taking place from September to November. But if you buy a box at retail you can mail your receipt to info@epccigar.com and they will ship you a sampler. The cigar picked will be released next year, limited to 2000 boxes. Ten voters will also receive a mystery gift from Ernesto.

This is not the first time that EPC Cigars lets the audience vote. The EPC Pledge got its name after a public vote by attendees of the Big Smoke in Las Vegas.
