United Cigars is rereleasing two older Firecrackers again. The Bandolero Firecracker, originally released in 2020, will return. This 3½x50 short robusto with its long pigtail is made with tobaccos normally used for the Aventureros and the Clandestino blends of Selected Tobacco S.A.. The wrapper and binder are Ecuadorian, with filler from Nicaragua, Peru and the Dominican Republic.
The second rerelease is the Wise Man Maduro Firecracker. The first release was in 2021, there was a release in 2022 and now the cigar is back for a 2023 release. The blend uses a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, a corojo binder from Jalapa region, while the fillers come from Nicaragua’s Jalapa and Estelí regions. The cigars are produced at the Aganorsa factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
United Cigars stated that this will be the last release of these two blends in the Firecracker series.
