Flor de Cano Selectos No.3 Edición Regional UK Set for Release

Cuban cigar enthusiasts in the United Kingdom have something special to look forward to next week, as Hunters & Frankau prepares to launch the latest Edición Regional UK release—the Flor de Cano Selectos No.3. This 6 1/2 x 42 lonsdale will be previewed on February 6th during events across the country, with official sales beginning on February 7th, 2025.

This is the third time that Hunters & Frankau has chosen Flor de Cano for an Edición Regional release, but the first since 2013. Unlike standard Flor de Cano cigars, which typically use mixed filler, the Selectos No.3 is crafted exclusively from long-filler Cuban tobacco, offering a more refined smoking experience.

The MSRP is set at £42.50 ($52.85) per cigar or £1,060 ($1,318) per box of 25. Production is strictly limited to 5,000 numbered boxes, making it a highly collectible release for both Cuban cigar aficionados and Edición Regional collectors.

The Edición Regional Programme

The Edición Regional series is a special initiative by Habanos S.A., allowing its distributors worldwide to commission exclusive, region-specific releases. These cigars must be from a non-“Global Brand” within the Cuban cigar portfolio and feature a vitola not typically offered by the brand. Each release is distinguished by a red and silver secondary band signifying its Edición Regional status.

While these cigars are designated for a specific year, delays are common. The Flor de Cano Selectos No.3 was originally selected as part of the 2022 class but is only now reaching the market. Given its unique format, premium long-filler blend, and rarity, this limited-edition release is expected to generate strong demand among UK cigar connoisseurs.
