Fratello comes with a second fresh pack

July 20, 2022 Inspector Z 2 min read

Fratello comes with a second fresh pack. And just like with the previous fresh pack, this will all be 6×50 Toro sizes. For two of the five cigars, it is a new size to an already existing line.

The new space pack includes the Fratello Oro, Fratello The Texan, plus the three blends from the Fratello Camo Series. All these cigars hail from the Dominican Republic where Fratello works with La Aurora Cigar Factory. That is the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, a recurring theme for Fratello as their Nicaraguan cigars come from the oldest cigar factory in Nicaragua. That is Fabrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua.

“When we saw the success of the Space Fresh Pack we were blown away at the reception by our consumers,” says Omar de Frias, founder of Fratello, via a press release. “Now a greater number of people will get a chance to try The Texan and our highly rated Camo alongside one of our bestselling cigars the Fratello Oro.”

There the original Space Fresh Pack included two new lines to test the market, the new Space Pack gives Fratello fans worldwide the chance to smoke a regional edition. The Fratello The Texan was a limited edition blend only sold in the Lone Star State. It features an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper, a Sumatran binder, and four fillers: Dominican Piloto Cubano ligero, Dominican andullo, ligero from Estelí, Nicaragua, and ligero from Pennsylvania.

The Fratello Oro was the first-ever Dominican Fratello cigar, even though that’s where De Frias’s roots are. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Cameroon binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Not only was it the first Dominican cigar from Fratello but also the first Connecticut Shade in the company’s line-up.
