Gran Habano Expands Corojo No. 7 Line

February 4, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

The Gran Habano Corojo No. 7, which made its debut last year in a single vitola, is now expanding. The original 6 x 54 Toro Extra is getting new packaging options, and a new Robusto vitola will be introduced at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show.

Gran Habano has announced that the Corojo No. 7 Toro Extra will now be available in both cardboard five-packs and a special display box. This innovative display box, when fully stocked, holds 50 cigars—25 in the main section and another 25 in a right-side compartment. The right-side section can slide out to showcase five of the new five-packs, allowing for greater versatility in retail presentation. When not needed, the compartment can slide back into the main box seamlessly. The Toro Extra carries an MSRP of $14.80 per cigar.

The Corojo No. 7 blend features a hybrid wrapper sourced from Jalapa, Nicaragua, a corojo-seed binder from Nicaragua, and corojo fillers also from Nicaragua. This blend is specifically crafted to be stronger than the well-known Corojo No. 5, offering a more robust smoking experience for enthusiasts.

Furthermore, Gran Habano is set to introduce the Corojo No. 7 Robusto (5 x 52) at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place from April 12-14 in New Orleans. The new Robusto vitola will have an MSRP of $14 per cigar, providing a slightly smaller but equally powerful option for aficionados.

With these new offerings, Gran Habano continues to expand its portfolio, providing more variety and packaging innovations for cigar smokers who appreciate bold, complex flavours.
