Hector Becerra Departs Quesada
Quesada Cigars announced that Hector Becerra, national sales manager, left the company on Monday, September 29. The company thanked him for his dedication and wished him well.
Becerra joined Quesada as a regional sales manager before moving up in April 2023. He held the national role for nearly 30 months. Before joining Quesada, he worked at AJ Fernandez.
The company has not yet named a replacement. Quesada assured partners and clients that a new sales manager will be announced before the end of the year. In the meantime, their team will continue to provide full support and service.
Casa 1910 Appoints Hector Becerra
Casa 1910 quickly confirmed Hector Becerra as their U.S. sales director. The announcement came just days after his departure from Quesada.
Global chief commercial officer Rob Maneson welcomed him in a press release. He praised Becerra’s proven leadership and sales record. Maneson said Becerra’s expertise will strengthen Casa 1910’s reach in the U.S. and help build stronger ties with retailers and consumers.
Jeremy Fondi Takes New Role
This change also reshapes Casa 1910’s leadership team. Earlier this year, Jeremy Fondi was named national sales director. He will now serve as director of product development and manufacturing.
Maneson said this shift highlights Casa 1910’s focus on innovation and excellence. Fondi’s experience in the market and product knowledge will ensure the company continues to deliver cigars that meet and exceed consumer expectations.
