Hiram & Solomon soon available in Lebanon. The freemason cigars from Hiram and Solomon are entering another international market. And this time it is Lebanon. Which seems to be a fitting place for the brand to be available. The name Hiram is a biblical name given to the Phoenician kings. And Phoenicia is modern-day Lebanon. Solomon finds its origin in Arabic history. With Lebanon being an Arabic country, the brand will fit right in.
The distribution partner for Hiram and Solomon Cigars is Hand Rolled Distribution Company. Woody Ghsoubi and Najat Abdo started Hand Rolled Distribution Company out of passion. They love cigars and missed certain brands after they moved back to Lebanon. Currently, the company is distributing a few boutique brands, but also large and established brands including Drew Estate. Plus accessories from Boveda, Les Fines Lames, and PerfecDraw.

When Freemason brethren Fouad and George realized that they couldn’t find any Freemason cigars, they asked if they could make them. They got permission to use the Freemason logo and created a small batch. Not with the intention to build a company. The first cigars were created to raise money for charity. Charity plays a big part in the Freemasonry. But the batch sold out quickly, and so did the next.
When it was time to take things more seriously, production moved to the large factory of Plasencia in Esteli, Nicaragua. Hiram & Solomon created more blends, all inspired by the Freemasonry. We reviewed the Hiram & Solomon Traveling Man Gran Toro and Lancero, Fellow Craft Robusto, and Shriner Robusto. Philip & Ferdy paired the Hiram & Solomon Fellow Craft with Durian.
The lines
Hiram & Solomon is soon available in Lebanon. Hand Rolled Distribution Company is launching Hiram & Solomon with a limited number of lines and sizes on the Lebanese market. More blends and sizes will be added later. Lebanese Cigar Aficionados get to try the Fellow Craft Toro, Master Mason Toro, Shriner Gran Toro, and the Veiled Prophet Grand Monarch soon.
