Don Ibarra Cigars

Don Ibarra cigars is a family owned cigar manufacturing company located in the Dominican Republic. Robert Ibarra is the owner. As Cuban nationals they brought their expertise and passion for cigars to their new home in the Dominican Republic. 

The Don Ibarra cigars are available in several sizes. And in several blends. The choice in wrappers is between Habano, Corojo, Criollo, and Connecticut Shade. The company uses two different binders. One is from Brazil, the other comes from Sumatra, Indonesia. The filler for all four blends is Dominican. At Intertabac 2018 Don Ibarra shows the new Robusto Supremo size.

Family History

As mentioned, the roots of the Ibarra family are in Cuba. But the socialist Castro regime caused the family to leave the Caribbean island. They landed in the Dominican Republic. The family picked up where they left off. That’s growing tobacco and making cigars.
