Joya de Nicaragua Introduces Exclusive Antaño CT ‘Gran Cónsul’ & New Humidified Go-Packs
Joya de Nicaragua has unveiled the Antaño CT ‘Gran Cónsul,’ a limited-edition release available exclusively to Club de Amigos of JDN members. Only 250 boxes of this special cigar have been produced, making it a sought-after addition to the esteemed Antaño CT line.
A Bold New Addition to the Antaño CT Line
For over two decades, the Antaño series has been synonymous with boldness, complexity, and resilience. The Antaño CT defied expectations by blending the smooth elegance of a Connecticut wrapper with a rich and nuanced flavour profile. Now, for the first time, this blend is offered in the Gran Cónsul (4 ¾ x 60) vitola, delivering an intense yet balanced smoking experience.
The Gran Cónsul vitola has long been a favourite in other Antaño lines, but its introduction to the Antaño CT range is a milestone. It follows the success of the Antaño CT Robusto, which was named Halfwheel’s Cigar of the Year in 2019. Wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper and packed with Nicaraguan binder and filler, the Antaño CT ‘Gran Cónsul’ promises a refined yet powerful smoke. The cigars are presented in 20-count boxes, with an MSRP of $11 per cigar and $220 per box. This release will be officially unveiled at the PCA 2025 Convention and Trade Show in New Orleans, with shipments beginning in May 2025.
