Kafie 1901 Unveils Stiltsville at PCA 2025: A Tribute to Miami’s Iconic Waterscape
Kafie 1901 Cigars is set to debut a unique, Miami-inspired release at PCA 2025: Stiltsville. Aged in rum barrels and crafted in collaboration with La Aurora, this cigar promises a rich and refined experience rooted in nostalgia and place.
Dr. Gaby Kafie is bringing history, flavour, and a deep love for Miami together in his latest release: Stiltsville. Launching at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, this limited-edition line from Kafie 1901 Cigars pays homage to the famed wooden stilt houses standing above the shallow waters of Biscayne Bay, just off Cape Florida.
Named after the legendary maritime community, Stiltsville is the result of nearly three years of development between Dr. Kafie and Manuel Inoa, the master blender of La Aurora Cigar Factory. Though the full blend remains a closely guarded secret, we do know it boasts a stunning five-year-aged, triple-fermented Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. This dark, robust wrapper encases binder and filler tobaccos that were aged for nearly a year in 32-year-old fire-cured white oak barrels from Kentucky, once used to store award-winning Dominican rum.
The result? A deeply aromatic and evolving smoke with complexity in every draw. According to Dr. Kafie, this cigar is as much about storytelling as it is craftsmanship.
“Nearly three decades ago, I was drawn to Miami because of its soul. Stiltsville brings to life the beauty and mystery of the place that captured my imagination. It’s my love letter to this city,”
says Dr. Kafie.
Stiltsville will be available in two vitolas:
• Robusto (5 x 50) – MSRP $16.99 | Box of 20: $339
• Toro (5 3/4 x 54) – MSRP $19.99 | Box of 20: $399
Only 500 boxes per size will be produced in 2025, making this an exclusive release for discerning collectors and cigar enthusiasts. The cigars are manufactured by La Aurora in the Dominican Republic and are expected to ship to retailers in late autumn.
