La Aurora USA has unveiled the La Aurora Preferidos Hors d’Age 2024 LE, a luxurious cigar crafted with extra-aged tobacco for an ultra-smooth, medium-to-full-bodied smoke. This limited-edition release will debut at the PCA 2025 in New Orleans and is expected to sell out quickly.
A Cigar Twelve Years in the Making
The journey of the La Aurora Preferidos Hors d’Age 2024 LE began over a decade ago, embodying the essence of meticulous aging and expert blending. Named after the French cognac term “Hors d’Age,” meaning “beyond age,” this cigar reflects La Aurora’s commitment to excellence and craftsmanship. Master Blender Manuel Inoa explains that the name signifies the exceptional quality derived from time and patience—similar to the world’s finest cognacs.
A Carefully Curated Blend
Hors d’Age 2024 LE showcases a premium selection of tobaccos. The wrapper and binder are both Sumatra leaves grown in Ecuador, while the long-fillers hail from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Nicaragua. Each leaf in this refined blend has undergone at least 12 years of aging, resulting in a deeply harmonious and complex smoking experience.
A Rich and Balanced Flavour Profile
