Limited Edition Romeo Club and Mini for Germany. 5th Avenue, the exclusive distributor for Habanos in Germany, Poland, and Austria, brings the machine-made Romeo y Julieta to Germany with a limited edition packaging. The Romeo y Julieta Mini is a 3½x19 cigarillo and the Club is the bigger brother with its 3⅘x22 size. Both are already available in Germany, but now for a limited time only in special packaging.
The cigars are short fillers or tripa corta as they call them in Cuba. They are not made under the Habanos flag, but Habanos still distributes them through their global network of importers and distributors.

“The Romeo y Julieta Mini and Club are now available as a limited 2020 design edition – while stocks last, of course. Of course, nothing changes in the classic Romeo y Julieta taste. And neither is the price,” says Norbert Schelkle, responsible for the marketing of the Cuban Mini Cigars at 5THAvenue. The limited editions of the Cuban fine cigarillos are traditionally presented in metal cases. The respective brand design is always reinterpreted. “The cases with their eye-catching, unusual design appeal to new customers and collectors alike. This year, the legendary Verona balcony scene plays the main visual role in the packaging design of Romeo y Julieta,” explains Schelkle.
Like all Cuban Mini Cigars, this special edition is also produced exclusively by Internacional Cubana de Tabacos, ICT in Havana. The aromatic and medium-strong mixture of Romeo y Julieta with the unique tobacco from the world-famous tobacco-growing zone Vuelta Abajo makes it an indispensable classic in the premium cigarillos segment alongside Cohiba and Montecristo.
Since last week, these special editions have been delivered exclusively to German specialist retailers. “Romeo y Julieta is one of the top sellers in our Habanos range, and only 200 containers are available for Germany. Even taking into account the current strong increase in demand for the Cuban fine cigarillos, we have to assume that this edition will also be sold out quickly again, ”concludes Schelkle.
With a retail price of € 11.90 for 20 Romeo y Julieta mini cigarillos and € 15.70 for the larger club format, these special editions cost no more than the corresponding packs of the fixed range.
