LOFB Cigars Launches “Skinny Bastarda” at PCA 2025

August 13, 2025 Usman Dawood 2 min read

LOFB Cigars unveiled the Skinny Bastarda at PCA 2025 in New Orleans, a 5½ x 42 Half Corona crafted entirely by women at the Quesada Cigars factory in the Dominican Republic. The release celebrates women’s role in the brand’s mental health mission.

Production takes place at the Quesada Cigars factory, led by Raquel and Patricia Quesada. With more than five decades of family cigar-making tradition behind them, the sisters were given full creative control over the project. Founder Adam J. Levine says they created the blend entirely on their own, keeping the recipe even from him. “Women are far better at keeping secrets than men,” Levine said, adding that he has smoked the cigar and believes men will also enjoy it.

Raquel and Patricia say they immediately embraced the idea when approached. “As individuals, we are all unique, but mental health is something that connects us all,” they said. “We’re honoured to be involved and excited to share this cigar with the world.”

The Skinny Bastarda will be offered in both domestic and international markets in packs of five and bundles of twenty. While MSRP has yet to be confirmed, the company says the cigar is intended to be accessible while maintaining the level of craftsmanship associated with the Quesada name.

This release builds on LOFB Cigars’ broader mission to challenge outdated notions of masculinity, support meaningful causes, and highlight the craftsmanship that defines the premium cigar industry. By collaborating with the Quesadas, the brand ties its charitable focus to a tangible product designed to appeal to both women and men in the cigar community.
