LOFB Launches Non-Alcoholic Beer Line with Pilsner and Hazy IPA
League of Fat Bastards expands beyond cigars with two non-alcoholic beers brewed in Florida. The move aligns closely with the brand’s long-standing commitment to men’s mental health.
LOFB Expands Beyond Cigars
League of Fat Bastards, widely known as LOFB, has announced the release of its first non-alcoholic beverages. The debut includes a premium Pilsner and a Hazy IPA, both brewed in Florida. The launch marks a significant expansion beyond cigars while staying true to the company’s mission. LOFB donates 40 percent of its net profits to men’s mental health initiatives worldwide.
The non-alcoholic category continues to grow at speed. LOFB sees this shift as a natural extension of its values. The company aims to offer high-quality products that support healthier lifestyle choices without compromising enjoyment.
Innovation Through a New Brewing Approach
German Hop Technology Without Alcohol Removal
LOFB uses a brewing method that avoids traditional alcohol removal. Instead, the beers rely on genetically modified German hops developed specifically for alcohol-free brewing. This approach preserves flavour, aroma, and mouthfeel.
Many non-alcoholic beers lose complexity during dealcoholisation. LOFB chose a different path to protect quality from the start. The result delivers balance, structure, and depth without alcohol.
Founder Adam J. Levine stressed that compromise was never an option. “Australians understand beer. Flavour came first, and we refused to cut corners.”
Two Flagship Beers With a Clear Purpose
The Initial Line-Up
The first releases include:
LOFB Non-Alcoholic Pilsner
LOFB Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA
Both beers reflect LOFB’s core philosophy. The company focuses on premium experiences that do not rely on alcohol. The range supports men who want alternatives that align with better mental wellbeing. Levine explained the reasoning clearly. Alcohol often becomes a coping tool for stress. LOFB wanted to offer something that supports, rather than undermines, mental health.
Industry Expertise Strengthens LOFB Refresh Division
Experienced Leadership Joins the Team
To support the launch, LOFB created the LOFB Refresh Division. The company appointed Steve Gorman to lead commercial expansion. Gorman began his career with a Molson Coors distributor in Tampa. He later held senior roles at Red Bull, Castle Brands, and O’Shaughnessy Distilling. His experience spans national accounts, distributor strategy, and pricing programmes. LOFB sees this expertise as critical for a successful nationwide rollout.
Availability and Distribution Plans
Focus on Cigar Lounges and Retail Growth
LOFB’s non-alcoholic beers are available now through the company and selected distributors. The brand actively seeks new distribution partners. Cigar lounges remain a primary focus, especially venues without alcohol licences. LOFB plans to place its beers alongside its cigars wherever possible. The company also targets broader retail placement. National shelf presence is planned for 2026.
