Lost&Found Cigar Trio Heads to Retailers Under New Ownership

Laudisi Enterprises, which acquired Caldwell Cigar Co. and its associated Lost&Found brand in March, is now shipping the first cigars under its ownership. This week, three new Lost&Found releases are hitting the shelves, each with a unique blend and limited availability.

The first cigar, Late to the Party, was crafted by Robert Caldwell before the acquisition. This 5 3/4 x 52 robusto extra features a rich Habano Oscuro wrapper, a Mexican San Andrés binder, and a mix of broadleaf, Condega, and corojo fillers. With a price of $11 per cigar, only 180 bundles of 10 have been produced, making it a rare find for enthusiasts.

The other two cigars, developed by Caldwell after the acquisition, include Don’t Sit on the Furniture and Out of Towners. Don’t Sit on the Furniture is a 6 x 54 toro that combines a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Habano aromatico binder, and fillers of corojo, Habano, and Pennsylvania tobaccos. Priced at $12 per cigar, this release is limited to 200 bundles of 10 cigars.

Out of Towners, a 5 x 50 robusto, rounds out the trio with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Sumatra binder, and fillers of corona, Nicaraguan, and piloto leaves. This cigar is priced at $10 and is also limited to 200 bundles of 10 cigars.

All three new cigars are crafted at Tabacalera Mina del Rey in the Dominican Republic, which also manufactures for ADV & McKay Cigars Co. Since its launch in 2014 by Caldwell, Tony Bellatto, and Jaclyn Sears, Lost&Found has evolved from a brand that repurposed overlooked cigars with quirky packaging to one that commissions its own blends with an emphasis on extended aging. These limited releases continue Lost&Found’s tradition of offering unique, small-batch cigars for collectors and connoisseurs alike.
