Lost&Found is Bringing Back the Instant Classic

June 1, 2022 Billie 2 min read

A commissioned cigar and a break from their original business model of releasing small batches of orphaned cigars. The Instant Classic is made by Tabacalera William Ventura and two of the three blends will be available all year around, although with changing vitolas. For example, the Instant Classic Habano Ecuador is now available in a 5×50 Robusto and a 6¾x50 Toro but upon reordering, retailers might find out that these two sizes have been changed to a 5×50 Robusto, 6×46 Corona Gorda and a 6×52 Toro. The same goes for the Instant Classic San Andres, which is now available as a 5¾x48 Toro Fino and a 6×52 Torpedo for the time being. Eventually both lines should be available in the Robusto, Corona Gorda and Toro size.

The Instant Classic Habano uses and Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Dominican binder and filler. The San Andres uses a Mexican filler from the San Andres valley over Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco. The blends are not the same as the original 2020 release.

And then there is a limited edition Instant Classic with a Habano hybrid wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder. The filler comes from the Dominican Republic and it comes in a 6×52 box-pressed toro size. There are 7000 boxes available, of which 2000 boxes are allocated to European distributors.

All three lines were rolled years ago and have been aging at the factory for a long time before being released.
