Luciano Cigars and Crowned Heads Part Ways

November 16, 2022 Inspector L 2 min read

Luciano Cigars and Crowned Heads have officially parted ways since Tuesday and Luciano Cigars has appointed a few new team members to adjust to the new situation where they are now handling their own distribution in the United States. And not only their own distribution, as they are also distributing ATL Cigars.

The Pichardo lines will get a rebrand while The Sergeant will get new vitolas. “It’s not only a rebranding, but a new era in our company,” said Luciano Meirelles, president and CEO of Luciano Cigars. “We are expanding our farming, tobacco processing and manufacturing facilities. I am humbled and grateful to have an incredible ‘Dream Team’ in place to distribute across the US with in-house reps and broker partnerships.” There will also be an online portal for retailers.

ATL Cigars will get a rebranding and move all the production to the factory of Luciano Cigars. Peter Gross, co-founder and co-owner of ATL will be joining Luciano Cigars as the new COO. Rebecca Meirelles will be the marketing officer and will oversee the company’s national and international marketing efforts. Kristen Dounoulis joins the company as its distribution manager, overseeing warehouse and fulfilment activities.

“As an athlete I have always known that dedication, hard work and talent is the recipe for success,” said Tiago Splitter, co-founder and vp of Luciano Cigars. “What we are experiencing today is just a consequence of these three exponentiated elements. I can say from the depths of my soul that today is a remarkable day for me and for our company.”
