Lure Cigars Unveils “The Fat Tony” Robusto Grande
Lure Cigars™ has announced the release of The Fat Tony, a 5×54 Robusto Grande, as the latest addition to its Corojo Oscuro core line. This stout vitola enhances the blend’s strength and flavour, making it a must-try for aficionados seeking a robust yet balanced smoke.
Lure Cigars is known for its signature Tackle & Tobacco philosophy, bringing people together over quality cigars. Following the success of the Corojo Oscuro range, The Fat Tony introduces a bolder smoking experience while retaining the signature flavour profile.
A Blend of Excellence
This latest release boasts a double-fermented Corojo Oscuro wrapper over a binder from Estelí, Nicaragua. The filler blend combines Estelí and Jalapa tobaccos with a touch of Ometepe ligero, delivering a medium-to-full-bodied experience with complex notes of leather, baking spices, dried fruit, café con leche, and a hint of orange peel on the finish.
Like previous Lure Cigars releases, The Fat Tony comes in 10-count sealed wax packs, wrapped in red heavyweight craft stock, and includes Boveda® humidification for optimal freshness.
Availability & Release Dates
The Fat Tony is a regular production release, priced at $12.50 per cigar. It will debut on April 1, 2025, exclusively at Small Batch Cigars. A wider release is scheduled for May 15, 2025, following its showcase at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Tradeshow.
